FLORENCE, ROME, MILAN AND PISA
This is the perfect Italian holiday like no other. You will thrill to the enchantment on Italy's magnificent cities and unique countryside. Marvel at the splendour of the "Eternal City" of Rome, see the famous leaning tower of Pisa and enjoy the "Jewel of the Renaissance" - Florence. This is certainly one Italian Holiday that shouldn't be missed.

Day One
We depart early morning and travel south by luxury coach for our short ferry crossing to France. We continue (south - please remove) to our overnight hotel, in France.

Day Two
After breakfast, we savour the beautiful scenery as we continue our southward journey through Switzerland. We stop to visit the idealic lakeside city of Lucerne before continuing on to Italy to our hotel on the outskirts of Milan in time for dinner.

Day Three
Following breakfast join our optional tour of Milan and see the fabulous designer shops which personify the elegance of Italian culture. Have free time to absorb the cafés and restaurants of this famous and amazing City before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Day Four
After breakfast, we continue our Italian odyssey driving further south to the enchanting city of Assisi, appearing as a mirage on the hillside above Perugia. Join our optional tour which explains the legend of St.Frances of Assisi! We continue to our next hotel (dinner included).

Day Five
Today, after breakfast, join one of the highlights of our tour, our optional excursion to Rome which includes a tour, partly by coach and then partly walking when we visit the Colosseum and the Vatican City. Afterwards, you have free time to wander around the city centre, enjoy the atmosphere and perhaps visit the Hard Rock Café. So much to see and do before we head back to our hotel!!

Day Six
After a fine breakfast we head northward to our next hotel in Montecatini Terme. Relax in the bars or enjoy the shops of this delightful Spa town with its 600 years of rich history and tradition. Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Pisa, where you can climb the famous leaning tower or explore the beautiful architecture of the Cathedral and Baptistry (entrance fees may apply). Dinner at the hotel is included.

Day Seven
Following breakfast, join our optional excursion by local transport to the Italian gem of Florence in the heart of Tuscany. You must visit the Ponte Vecchio, perhaps our walking tour will capture your imagination. You then have free time before catching the direct train back to Montecatini. Alternatively, you have free time all day to explore this lovely spa town. You could catch the cable car up Montecatini Alto for some stunning views or spoil yourself with one of the many spa treatments on offer. We all join back together at the hotel for dinner.

Day Eight
We depart after an early breakfast, as we leave Italy and again have a lovely drive through Switzerland passing Lake Como, Lake Lugano and Lake Lucerne before arriving at our hotel in France.

Day Nine
We complete our journey back to Calais and return on the ferry back to England arriving home in the evening with a myriad of memories to savour.
